Another way to transfer photos from iPhone to any other Apple device is to enable iCloud Photos on both devices. This results in Photos being automatically uploaded to iCloud and becoming accessible on all your Apple Devices that share the same Apple ID.
1. Transfer Photos from iPhone to iPad Using AirDrop
The AirDrop feature makes use of Bluetooth to locate nearby devices. Hence, make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone and iPad and follow the steps below to AirDrop photos from iPhone to iPad.
1. On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > AirDrop > select the Everyone option.
2. Similarly, enable AirDrop on iPad by using the above step.
3. Open the Photos App on iPhone > tap on Albums tab in bottom menu and open the Album containing Photos that you want to transfer.
4. On the next screen, select the Photos that you want to transfer and tap on the Share icon located in bottom menu.
5. From the Sharing Menu that appears, select the AirDrop option.
6. On the next screen, select the iPad or the Device Name to which you want to send the photos.
7. On iPad, you will see an AirDrop pop-up, tap on the Accept option to receive the selected Photos from your iPhone.
Once, you tap on Accept, you will see Photos from iPhone appearing on iPad.
2. Transfer Photos from iPhone to iPad Using iCloud
Make sure that you are signed-in to iPhone and iPad and follow the steps below to transfer Photos from iPhone to iPad using iCloud.
1. Open Settings on your iPhone, scroll down and tap on Photos.
2. On the next screen, move the toggle next to iCloud Photos to ON position.
This will result in Photos on your iPhone being uploaded to iCloud.
How to Access iCloud Photos on iPad?
Sign-in to iPad using the same Apple ID and Password that was used on iPhone and follow the steps below to access iCloud Photos.
1. Open Settings on your iPad > tap on Photos > move the toggle next to iCloud Photos to ON position.
2. Open the Photos App on your iPad and tap on Albums tab in the bottom-menu.
3. On the Albums tab, scroll down and tap on Imports.
All Photos that you see in this Album are Photos imported from iPhone and other Apple Devices using a common Apple ID.
