In case you are not aware, WhatsApp provides the option to send Messages even when your device is not connected or disconnected from the internet.
The feature in WhatsApp that allows users to send messages without internet connection is known as “Offline Messages” and it basically allows you to type WhatsApp Messages, even when your device is offline and tap on the Send button.
After you finish typing the message and hit the send button, WhatsApp takes over the responsibility of making sure that the message is sent out from your device, as soon as it gets connected to the network.
Send WhatsApp Messages Without Internet Connection
The “Offline Messages” feature in WhatsApp that may allow you to send Messages without internet connection can be useful in the following cases.
1. You are in the middle of a WhatsApp Chat and your internet connection gets cut off or disrupted due to some reason. Instead of abruptly ending the Chat, you can complete the Message and inform your Contact about problems with internet connectivity in your area.
2. If you are passing through a place with no Cellular or Wi-Fi Network, you will still be able to type a WhatsApp Message and hit the send button on your Phone.
As mentioned above, the offline Message will be automatically delivered to your Contact, as soon as your device gets connected to either Wi-Fi or cellular network (If allowed by you).
Here is How Offline Messages Work in WhatsApp
Whenever the internet connection is disrupted during a WhatsApp Chat, you can continue typing the Message and hit the send button after completing the Message.
When you hit the send button, the Message does not actually leave your device. It stays on your iPhone or Android phone and gets delivered to your Contact, whenever your device gets connected to the internet.
As you can imagine, the advantage of this feature is that you can actually complete your Message, even if the internet connection is cut off and you do not have to resend the Message again.
