The IMEI number of a mobile device is usually a 15-digit number that is unique to your phone and no other phone on the network can share the IMEI of your phone.

There are a number of ways to find the IMEI number of your Android phone and you can select from any of the following methods that better suits your own individual requirement.
1. IMEI Number of Android Phone With Removable Battery
If you have an older Android phone with a removable battery, you can find its IMEI number below the battery.
1. Use the Power button to Switch OFF your Android phone.
2. After the Phone is powered OFF, open the back cover and take out its battery.
3. Below the Battery, you will see two sets of numbers and a bar code.
The number set on the top of the bar code is the IMEI number of your Android Phone and the number set below the barcode is its serial number (which is another unique identifier)
2. IMEI Number of Android Phone With Non-Removable Battery
If your Android phone has a fixed or non-removable battery, its IMEI number will be engraved on the back of the phone.
1. Take a look at the back side of your Android phone. You may find its IMEI number engraved on the back of your device.
The IMEI number will be engraved in very small letters. Hence, you may find the need to use magnifying glass to see the number clearly.
You can also take a picture of the back portion of the phone using another phone or tablet, this will allow you to see the IMEI number clearly by zooming in on the picture.
3. Check the Phone Box and Receipt
If you still have the packaging or the Box in which your Android phone arrived, you should be able to see a sticker on it with a bar code. You will find the IMEI code below the bar code.
Another way is to find the phone’s receipt. It is likely that the vendor has written the IMEI number of the phone on the receipt at the time of purchase.
4. Find IMEI Number By Dialing *#06#
Perhaps the quickest way to find the IMEI number of an Android phone is to dial in the suggested code.
1. Open the Phone app on your Android Phone
2. Tap on Keypad tab.
3. Dial *#06# using the dial pad.
Your Android phone will immediately display its IMEI number on the screen.
5. Find IMEI Number Using Settings
1. Open the Settings App on your Android Phone.
2. From the Settings screen, go to About Phone > Status.
3. On the Staus screemn, you will be able to see the IMEI Number of your Phone.
Just tap and hold the IMEI number till you see the option to copy and paste the number to Notes app.
6. Find IMEI Number From Your Google Account
You can also login to your Google Account and find the IMEI number displayed on the information screen.
1. Go to google.com/settings/dashboard > Sign-in to the Google Account that is linked to your device.
2. Once you are signed-in, expand the Android tab and you will see all the Android devices linked to your Google Account.
3. Select your Android Phone and you will find all its details, including its IMEI Number.
