2. On the Settings screen, tap on Chats option.
3. On the next screen, move the toggle next to Media Visibility to OFF position.
Note: This setting only prevents newly downloaded Photos and Videos from appearing in Photos Gallery. This means that the previously downloaded photos will continue to show in the photo gallery.
