If you have recently cancelled any monthly subscription service, make sure that you also cancel Recurring Auto Payments for this service in your PayPal Account.
Cancel Recurring Payments in PayPal
When you sign up for a trial version of VPN Service or subscription services like Netflix, Amazon Prime and others, you will be required to submit payment information and agree to a recurring payment system.
Before the trial period expires, you will receive an Email Message from the company, informing you that your trial period is going to expire soon, after which your monthly recurring payments will start.
If you enjoyed the service during the trial period and want to continue, you can choose to ignore this message and allow the company to periodically bill your PayPal Account.
If this is not the case, make sure that you cancel the service before expiry of the trial period and also Cancel Recurring Payments in your PayPal Account to prevent the possibility of being billed.
Cancel Auto Renewing Payments in PayPal
You can follow the steps below to Cancel Auto-renewing payments in your PayPal Account.
1. Login to your PayPal Account on a Mac or Windows computer.
2. Click on the cogwheel shaped Settings Icon, located at top-right corner of the screen.
3. In the expanded Settings menu, switch to Payments tab and click on Manage Automatic Payments option.
4. On the next screen, select the Payment that you want to cancel and click on the Cancel button.
This should cancel the selected Recurring Payment in your PayPal Account.
